About the Event
Winter still seems to be in its dormancy, but the soil is already awakening and preparing for spring. Join us at Yesod Farm+Kitchen, along with Congregation Beth Israel, to mark Tu BiShvat (the 15th day of the month of Shvat), which has been a time to be in relationship with trees and their produce for millennia. All ages welcome.
Come dressed warm to spend some time outside with trees. Please bring a mask.
*We will cancel for rain--keep an eye out in the days leading up to the event for an email from us. We will also post on the website (this page).*
Please carpool when possible, parking is very limited. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
Parking: Please park head-in on the culvert over Garren Creek on Kirstein Rd. There is very limited parking space so carpooling is highly recommended.
Accessability: There is an uphill walk from the parking spot to our gathering place. Our main gathering location is on uneven ground in a small wooded area, with stumps and folding chairs to sit on. We will be walking on a mowed grass path to visit trees around the land. We may have a fire to sit by for warmth. Bathrooms and handwashing are available. Please email info@yesodfarm.org with accessibility requests and questions.
