About the Event

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED. IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

This interactive workshop will use the Jewish Studio Process method, led by a JSP Fellow. JSP is a creative practice that's designed so that anybody can participate. You'll be guided to use art materials as spiritual inquiry, following your own curiosity and pleasure.

We'll be outside in a sukkah, a temporary structure built for the holiday Sukkot. The holiday is associated with prayers for rain. Reflecting on that season, we'll explore our personal and collective relationships with water and rain through text study, art making, and witnessing our creations.

Please RSVP on Yesod's website. We need an accurate headcount so that we can buy enough art supplies, etc.

We're excited for a full two hours of activities. Please do your best to arrive at 5:30pm, we really appreciate it for this event.

This program was supported by a JSP microgrant. Learn more about Jewish Studio Project at www.JewishStudioProject.org

Accessibility: The ground is unpaved. A composting toilet for your use is available. Folding chairs will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own chair that's more comfortable. Please email info@yesodfarm.org with accessibility requests and questions.

COVID: This event is outdoors and distanced, but please **bring a mask** in case there are times where we need to be in closer proximity.

Weather:  This event is outdoors. In case of rain, we will postpone. If that's happening, you'll receive an email by 2pm on the originally scheduled date. The rain date is Sunday October 15, noon-2pm.

Tickets: Please reserve 1 ticket per guest. This event is free, and we welcome donations to support Yesod Farm+Kitchen. We encourage BIPOC to sign up for free tickets, and white community members to make a personally meaningful contribution, if you’re able.
