About the Event
You will receive our address upon registration.
Come help plant garlic! We'll talk about this long-season crop that helps us track the Jewish calendar. In Jewish culture, garlic is a beloved food, medicine, and source of protection.
Everyone is welcome, including folks of diverse abilities and any religious background. All ages are welcome, but we are not providing activities or childcare for this event (children who like gardening tend to be engaged at our volutneer events).
Dress for the weather! Bring water, sun/rain/cold protection (depending on the weather), good shoes, clothes to get dirty in, and any snacks you might need. We will provide some gloves, but the gloves aren't in great condition so we encourage you to bring your own.
ACCESSIBILITY
There are flat, unpaved, wide walkways in the field. We have some shade structures and chairs. There is a composting toilet and a cold water handwashing station in the field, a few minutes of flat walking from where we'll be working. Please email info@yesodfarm.org with any accessibility requests and questions.
COVID
Please stay home if you are not feeling well or if you have been exposed to someone with symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days. We ask that everyone brings their own mask. We will also have surgical masks available. Individuals can choose how close/distanced they are from each other throughout the event.

Please reserve 1 ticket per guest. This event is free, and we welcome donations to support Yesod Farm+Kitchen.
