About the Event
If we need to reschedule for rain, we will send an email to all registrants on Wednesday morning. The rain date is Wednesday 7/17 4-7pm (4-6 harvest, 6-7 dinner)
Come to Yesod Farm+Kitchen on Thursday, July 18, 5-7pm, for a volunteer day as we harvest potatoes ! Stick around from 7-8 for a simple farm-to-table dinner (including french fries from potatoes grown last year!).
Potatoes are a comfort food and staple for many. We will share stories of familial and Jewish cultural relationships to potatoes. Together we will dig up 2 varieties of potato: russets and purple magesty.
This event is outdoors and distanced, but please **bring a mask** in case there are times where we need to be in closer proximity.
All are welcome. This includes families, folks of diverse abilities, and any religious background. There will be tasks for all ages and abilities.
