Harvesting Garlic

You will receive our address upon registration.

Seven months ago, we planted garlic. 

Now that we're approaching summer solstice, it's time to harvest!

Join us in the field to harvest garlic and learn about Jewish relationships to this plant. We'll pull garlic out of the ground.  Finally, we'll sow buckwheat as a cover crop to nourish the soil. Later in the week, we will clean the garlic and braid it in to strands to cure.

All ages are welcome. This includes families, folks of diverse abilities, and any religious background. There will be tasks for all ages and abilities.
