About the Event
Come help plant garlic! We'll talk about this long-season crop that helps us track the Jewish lunisolar calendar. In Jewish culture, garlic is a beloved food, medicine, and source of protection.
Everyone is welcome, including folks of diverse abilities and any religious background. All ages are welcome, but we are not providing activities or childcare for this event.
Please RSVP on Yesod's website. If you'll be coming more than half an hour late, please email info@yesodfarm.org to let us know so that we can plan accordingly.
Accessibility: The ground is unpaved. A composting toilet for your use is available. Please email info@yesodfarm.org with accessibility requests and questions.
COVID: This event is outdoors and distanced, but please **bring a mask** in case there are times where we need to be in closer proximity.
Weather: Please dress for the weather. This event is outdoors, and will happen rain or shine. In case of dangerous weather, we will cancel. You will receive an email by 10am the morning before the event in case of cancellation.
