Community Volunteer Day

Come over to Yesod Farm + Kitchen to help transition some of our summer field into cover crop. We will be pulling weeds and sowing seeds from 5-8pm, and then gathering for a picnic dinner.

This event is outdoors and distanced, but please **bring a mask** in case there are times where we need to be in closer proximity. Hand sanitizer and hand washing will be available in the field and by our dinner location.

Please come for whatever amount of time works for you--any help is appreciated.

Bring your own food (and plate!) if you can. We will provide a vegan summer stew (ingredients to be posted closer to the event) and iced tea.

There will be tasks for all ages and abilities.

Accessibility: There are flat, unpaved, wide walkways in the field. We have some shade structure and chairs. The available bathrooms are a few minutes walk uphill from the field. There will be a mix of folding chairs and tables and picnic blanket-style seating for dinner. Please email info@yesodfarm.org with accessibility requests and questions.

Parking: Please park at the culvert on Kirstein Road by Garren Creek. From there, you'll see us in the field.
