About the Event
Come to Yesod Farm+Kitchen to decorate the sukkah (temporary hut) and make your own lulav (ritual rain stick) for Sukkot (fall harvest festival). Join us to learn about and prepare for this joyous fall farvest festival.
This event is outdoors and distanced, but please **bring a mask** in case there are times where we need to be in closer proximity. If you have hand pruners/clippers, please bring them as well.
All are welcome. This includes families, folks of diverse abilities, and any religious background. There will be tasks for all ages and abilities.
Schedule:
4-4:30pm: Introductions and Sukkot Learning! Get oriented to both Yesod Farm+Kitchen and each other. Learn about the upcoming holiday of Sukkot and the traditions around the sukkah and the lulav.
4:30-5:30pm: Land walk and lulav harvest! We'll gather plant materials from the land for both your personal lulav and to decorate the sukkah.
